When you use Ad-Din services, you trust us with your information. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. This is important; we hope you will take time to read it carefully. You can always manage your account information from profile section of our Ad-Din portal.

There are many different ways you can use our services – to search for and share information, to communicate with other people or to create new content. When you share information with us, for example by creating an Ad-Din Account, we can make those services even better. As you use our services, we want you to be clear how we’re using information and the ways in which you can protect your privacy.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- What information we collect and why we collect it.
- How we use that information.
- The choices we offer, including how to access and update information.
We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible, but if you’re not familiar with terms like cookies, IP addresses, pixel tags and browsers, or any other term mentioned in these document then first search them in our key terms page. Your privacy matters to Ad-Din so whether you are new to Ad-Din or a long-time user, please do take the time to get to know our practices – and if you have any questions contact us.
Information we collect
Immense Inc. mission is to provide an unique converged solution for Masajid's, Madrassah’s and individual Muslim's daily ritual needs and their operations. Our focus is on how these powerful devices can be utilized for the sake of ones dīn/rituals, and how those interactions would differ from traditional legacy isolated model vs a unified converged solution. We are aiming to excel on structuring the right content for right people at right time using advanced capabilities of these devices with rich and efficient user experiences. To achieve this mission, Immense Inc. makes features and functionality available through Ad-Din website including Ad-Din Mobile and Web applications portal platform for Masjid and Madrasah Management through its premium services and its free tier to help Muslims connecting to Masjid and other Muslim brothers as part of the Ad-Din services. By joining Ad-Din, you voluntarily and willingly provide Immense Inc., in Scarborough, ON, Canada, certain information, including personally identifiable information, which we collect in order to provide the Services. If you are hesitant about providing information to us and/or having your information displayed on the Ad-Din’s website or otherwise used in any manner permitted in this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement, you should not become a member of the Ad-Din Mobile and Web application and, if you are already a member, you should close your account.
We collect information to provide better services to all of our users – from figuring out basic stuff like which is your home Masjid for your daily prayers, to more complex things like your child’s assignment marks for the day.
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you give us. For example, our services may require you to sign up for an Ad-Din Account. When you do, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number or bank account to store with your account. We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you watch an Ad-Din Web page, visit a website that uses our advertising services, or view and interact with our ads and content. This information includes:
- Device information
We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number). Ad-Din may associate your device identifiers or phone number with your Ad-Din Account.
- Log information
When you use our services or view content provided by Ad-Din, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes details of how you used our service, such as your access to staff details page.
- Internet protocol address
Device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL. Cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your Ad-Din Account.
- Location information
When you use Ad-Din services, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide you in Ad-Din with information on nearby Masjid or Madrasah, Qiblah direction.
- Unique application numbers
Certain services include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to Ad-Din when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers, such as for automatic updates.
- Local storage
We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.
- Cookies and similar technologies
Ad-Din does not store unencrypted personally identifiable information in the cookies. Like most websites, we use cookies and web log files to track site usage and trends, to improve the quality of our service, to customize your experience on Ad-Din, as well may use to deliver Ad-Din and third-party advertising to Users both on and off the Ad-Din site. You can remove or block cookies using the settings in your browser, but in some cases doing so may impact your ability to use Ad-Din. One type of cookie, known as a “persistent” cookie, is set once you’ve logged in to your Ad-Din account. The next time you visit the Ad-Din website, the persistent cookie will allow us to recognize you as an existing User so you will not need to log in before using the Services. In order to access or change any of your private information (like a credit card number) or to send a message to another User, however, you must log in securely again with your password even if your computer contains your persistent cookie. Another type of cookie, called a “session” cookie, is used to identify a particular visit to the Ad-Din website. Session cookies expire after a short time or when you close your web browser. Other technology like Macromedia’s flash can be used to place the functional equivalent of a cookie on your computer. We and our partners use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit an Ad-Din service, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. We also use these technologies to collect and store information when you interact with services we offer to our partners, such as Ad-Din features that may appear on other sites.
Information we collect when you are signed in to Ad-Din, in addition to information we obtain about you from partners, may be associated with your Ad-Din Account. When information is associated with your Ad-Din Account, we treat it as personal information.
- Membership
In order to become a member, you must provide us the following information to create an account: username, email address, and password. Without this minimal amount of information, you cannot create an Ad-Din account. Like other passwords, you should choose one that is known only by you. Ad-Din requests other information from you during the membership generation process, (e.g., Social media integration, location, Home Masjid, etc.). You acknowledge that this information is personal to you, and by creating an account on Ad-Din, you allow others, including Immense Inc., to identify you and to allow Immense Inc., to use your information in accordance with our User Agreement.
- Profile Information
Once you become a Member or User, you may provide additional information to your Ad-Din Profile describing your date of birth, address, phone number, marital status, dependent information. Providing additional information about yourself beyond what is minimally required at membership registration is entirely up to you, but providing additional information enables you to derive more benefit from Ad-Din and your religious local and global network. Any information you provide at registration or in the Profile section may be used by Ad-Din as described in the User Agreement and this Privacy Policy, and may include for the purpose of allowing religious activities to find you on Ad-Din, or for serving more relevant advertisements on Ad-Din.
- Contacts Information
You may use the Ad-Din services to set up home Masjid/Madrasah and also follow either type of organizations. Note that when you select the Home Masjid or Home Madrasah or follow either type of organization they will be able to send messages to you and may use your basic contact information to contact you. You will be able to access these organizations public contents. If you posses and Role Based Access in a Masjid/Madrasah such as Teacher, Staff, Admin, Parent, or Student, the Administrators of those organizations will have access to all of your populated profile details such as Contact Details, Contact Information, Address Details, Spouse and dependent children’s details, Emergency Contact Details, Profile picture. You must be 18 years old or over for a self signup and can be any age when an Administrator of Masjid/Madrasah or parents add you to the Ad-Din System. By providing email addresses or other information of non-Users to Ad-Din or Masjid/Madrasah Administrators to make new users of Ad-Din, you represent that you have authority to do so. All information that you enter is covered by the User Agreement and this Privacy Policy.
- Customer Service
We collect information when you open a support requests in order to accurately categorize and respond to customer inquiries and investigate breaches of our terms.
- Using Third Party Services and Visiting Third Party Sites
We receive information when you use your Ad-Din account to log in or authenticate to a third-party website or application. Also, if you are logged into Ad-Din and visit a third party site that embeds Ad-Din plugins, like “Share on Ad-Din” for web publishers, Ad-Din will receive information that those pages have loaded in your web browser. Ad-Din will use this information to personalize the Ad-Din-provided functionality, including providing you insights from your Masjid network, allowing you to share information with your local masjid and region, enabling you to use Ad-Din functionality off the Ad-Din site.
- Advertising
To support the services, we provide at no cost to our Users, as well as provide a more relevant and useful experience for our Users, we may target and serve our own ads and third-party ads both on and off the site using Bulletin Boards and Ad networks. Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad exchanges, ad technology vendors and research firms.
We may use ad technology such as web beacons, pixels, anonymous ad network tags, and cookies to more effectively serve ads to our Users on and off Ad-Din through ad networks, as well as to collect anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for advertisers. Because your web browser requests advertisements and web beacons directly from ad network servers, these networks can view, edit or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site.
- Accessing and updating your personal information
Whenever you use our services, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information. If that information is wrong, we strive to give you ways to update it quickly or to delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes.
We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.
- Data Retention
Ad-Din will retain your information for so long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to close your account, you may do so from your profile page. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce this Agreement.
How we use information we collect
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect Ad-Din and our users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like giving you more relevant search results and ads.
The information you provide to Ad-Din may reveal, or allow others to identify, your ethnic origin, gender, age, and other aspects of your life. By providing information to us for the purposes of creating your User account or adding any additional details to your Ad-Din profile, you are expressly and voluntarily accepting the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and Ad-Din’s User Agreement that allow Ad-Din to process information about you. Supplying information to Ad-Din, including any information deemed “sensitive” by applicable law, is entirely voluntary on your part. You have the right to withdraw your consent to Ad-Din’s collection and processing of your information at any time, in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement, by closing your account, but please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive.
As described in the User Agreement, we will communicate with you through email, notices posted on the Ad-Din website, messages to your Ad-Din inbox, or through other means available through the service, including mobile text messages. We may send you a series of emails that help inform new Users about the features of the Services, and we will also send you service messages relating to the functioning of the Services. We may also send you messages with promotional information directly or on behalf of our partners, unless you have opted out of receiving promotional information.
You can change your e-mail and contact preferences at any time by logging into your account and changing your settings related to your email notification choices. If you wish, you can also opt-out of receiving promotional emails by sending a request to Ad-Din customer service through our customer service site.
Please be aware that you cannot opt-out of receiving service messages from Ad-Din. Also, if we send communications to you via the carrier service with which you have a mobile communications subscription or otherwise have access, you understand you will pay any service fees associated with your receipt of messages on your mobile device.
We may use the name you provide for your Ad-Din Profile across all of the services we offer that require an Ad-Din Account. In addition, we may replace past names associated with your Ad-Din Account so that you are represented consistently across all our services.
If you have an Ad-Din Account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on Ad-Din or on third-party applications connected to your Ad-Din Account. We will respect the choices you make to limit sharing or visibility settings in your Ad-Din Account.
Content distributed through Ad-Din’s sharing features and third party integrations may result in displaying some of your information outside of Ad-Din. For example, when you post content to a social network that is open for public, your content, including your name as the contributor, may be displayed.
We may provide aggregated anonymous data about the usage of the Services to third parties for purposes that we deem, in our sole discretion, to be appropriate, including to prospective advertisers on Ad-Din.
When you contact Ad-Din, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.
Polls and Surveys may be conducted by Ad-Din, Ad-Din Partner Masajid/Madrasahs and Islamic Organization. As a User, you may be invited to participate in polls and surveys from the Ad-Din website. Whether or not you decide to participate in a poll or survey is completely up to you.
We use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. One of the products we use to do this on our own services is Google and MS Azure Analytics services.
When posting on other services outside Ad-Din you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you choose to provide there can be read, collected, or used by other Users of these forums, as other third parties, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. Ad-Din is not responsible for the information you choose to submit in these third-party forums. However, please note that ideas you post and information you share may be seen and used by other Users, and Ad-Din cannot guarantee that other Users have not made copies of or use the ideas and information that you share with others on Ad-Din.
Our automated systems analyze the modules and Ad-Din features used and may send automated emails, push notification, SMS or other kind of communications.
If you provide any testimonials about the Ad-Din Services or place advertisements through the Ad-Din Ads, we may post those testimonials and examples of advertisements you place in connection with our promotion of these services to third parties. Testimonials and advertisements may include your name and other personal information that you have provided.
We may combine personal information from one service with information, including personal information, from other Ad-Din services – for example to make it easier to represent data in reporting. Depending on your account settings, your activity on other sites and apps may be associated with your personal information in order to improve Ad-Din’s services.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
If we learn that a User is deceased, we may memorialize the User’s account. In these cases, we may restrict profile access, remove messaging functionality, and close an account if we receive a formal request from the User’s next of kin or other proper legal request to do so.
Ad-Din processes personal information on our servers which may be setup in many countries around the world. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live.
Information we share
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Ad-Din unless one of the following circumstances applies:
- With your consent
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Ad-Din when we have your consent to do so. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
- With domain administrators
If your Ad-Din Account is managed for you by a Masjid, Madrasah/Religious School organization’s administrator, then your administrator who provide user support to your home or followed Masjid/Madrasah organization will have access to your Ad-Din Account information (including your email and other data). Your domain administrator may be able to:
- view statistics regarding your account, like for example statistics regarding your assignment submission.
- change your profile data.
- approve/Reject your course applications
- access or retain information stored as part of your account.
- receive your account information in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.

- For external processing
We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
- For legal reasons
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Ad-Din if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
- • meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- • enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
- • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
- • protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Ad-Din, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
If Ad-Din is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
If you shared your Ad-Din GUID or information in other ways, or if other users already have your Ad-Din GUID and information you shared, that identifies you, we will show them your Ad-Din Profile information, such as your name, Birthdate, address, and all profile data etc. (Ensure to only share GUID with only trusted users who are Masjid, Madrasah/Religious School administrator or authorized staff).
We may also disclose your personal information and other information you provide to another third party as part of a sale of the assets of Immense Inc., a subsidiary or division, or as the result of a change in control of the company. Any third party to which Ad-Din transfers or sells Ad-Din’s assets will have the right to continue to use the personal and other information that you provide to us.
- Carpool
By posting a carpool offer as a driver registered to the Service, you agree that Ad-Din act as an agent to achieve the following: (a) find a passenger wishing to book a seat in your vehicle for the ride; (b) provide contact information and all required information to the passenger so that he can complete the ride with you in the vehicle. See our Terms of Service for full details on Carpool policy prior to you use it.
Your Obligations
As a User, you have certain obligations to other Users. Some of these obligations are imposed by applicable law and regulations, and others have become commonplace in user-friendly communities of like-minded members such as Ad-Din:
- You must, at all times, abide by the terms and conditions of the then-current Privacy Policy and User Agreement. This includes respecting all intellectual property rights that may belong to third parties (such as trademarks or photographs).
- You must not download or otherwise disseminate any information that may be deemed to be injurious, violent, offensive, racist or xenophobic, or which may otherwise violate the purpose and spirit of Ad-Din and its community of Users.
- You must not provide to Ad-Din and/or other Users information that you believe might be injurious or detrimental to your person or to your professional or social status.
- You must keep your username and password confidential and not share it with others.
- Ensure to only share GUID with trusted users who are Masjid, Madrasah/Religious School administrator or authorized staff of these organizations.
Any violation of these guidelines may lead to the restriction, suspension or termination of your account at the sole discretion of Ad-Din.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without advance notice. In the event there are significant changes in the way we treat your personally identifiable information, or in the Privacy Policy document itself, we will display a notice on the Ad-Din website or send you an email, so that you may review the changed terms prior to continuing to use the site. As always, if you object to any of the changes to our terms, and you no longer wish to use Ad-Din, you may close your account. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that Ad-Din has about you and your account. Using the Ad-Din Services after a notice of changes has been sent to you or published on our site shall constitute consent to the changed terms or practices.
Information security
We work hard to protect Ad-Din and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:
- We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
- We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to Ad-Din employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
When this Privacy Policy applies
Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by Immense Inc., and its affiliates such as Ad-Din and services offered on other sites (such as our advertising services), but excludes services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you in search results, sites that may include Ad-Din services, or other sites linked from our services. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.
Compliance and cooperation with regulatory authorities
We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.

Data Retention, storage and destruction of information in province of Ontario, Canada
In Canada, the Ontario Student Record (OSR) is the record of a student's educational progress through schools in Ontario.
Regulations under freedom of information legislation require that personal information that has been used by an institution be retained by the institution for at least one year after use, unless the individual to whom the information relates consents in writing to its earlier disposal. Therefore, any personal information placed in an OSR should be retained by the school for at least one year after use, unless the principal receives written consent to its earlier disposal.
