THE CUSTOMER
The International School of Cambridge (ISOC) is a private Islamic elementary school located in Cambridge, Ontario, adjacent to the Jami Mosque and operated by the Islamic Centre of Cambridge. Established in 1992, the school offers education from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 and currently serves around 100 students. ISOC follows the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum while integrating Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Qur’an memorization to provide a well-rounded academic and spiritual foundation.

The school places a strong emphasis on Islamic values, daily prayer, and character building, aiming to nurture leadership, discipline, and a sense of community in its students. ISOC is also committed to academic excellence, with its students consistently achieving high results in EQAO testing and science fairs. Classrooms are equipped with modern learning tools such as computers, interactive projectors, and TV monitors to support a hands-on, student-led learning environment. With a dedicated staff, a full-time Hifz program, and a focus on student well-being, ISOC continues to grow as a respected institution within the Cambridge Muslim community.
The International School of Cambridge (ISOC) needed a way to effectively blend their rich Islamic studies and Arabic language programs with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s rigorous academic curriculum. Achieving this balance was more than just scheduling classes. It required a unified system to manage lesson planning, teaching materials, and student progress in a way that respected both religious values and academic standards.

At the same time, the school faced the ongoing challenge of handling comprehensive student assessments. From preparing students for yearly standardized tests to organizing Mid-Year and Final Exams for all grades, the administrative workload was significant. Teachers and staff had to track results across many subjects, ensure compliance with Ministry guidelines, and produce detailed, accurate reports for parents and school leaders.

Without a streamlined system in place, managing these dual priorities, integrated curriculum delivery and complex assessment reporting, was time-consuming and prone to errors. ISOC needed a solution that could simplify these processes, save staff time, and maintain the high educational standards their community expected.
THE CHALLANGE
THE SOLUTION
Ad-Din provided ISOC with a comprehensive platform that streamlined their academic and administrative tasks, directly addressing their unique challenges. The system enabled seamless integration of Islamic studies and Arabic alongside the Ontario curriculum, helping teachers manage lesson planning and student progress across all subjects in one place.

Ad-Din’s robust attendance and communication tools simplified daily tracking and ensured timely updates to parents and staff, improving overall coordination. The platform’s customizable reporting features allowed ISOC to generate detailed, accurate progress reports and exam results efficiently, reducing manual workload and minimizing errors.

Furthermore, Ad-Din’s reliability and user-friendly interface meant that both teachers and administrators could adapt quickly without disruption. The system’s flexibility allowed ISOC to tailor workflows to match their school’s values and educational goals, supporting growth while maintaining a strong focus on student well-being and academic excellence.
Since adopting Ad-Din, ISOC has seen a notable drop in the time spent on administrative tasks like attendance tracking and report generation. This automation has freed up teachers and staff to focus more on what matters most — supporting student growth academically and spiritually. Communication between the school, students, and parents has become faster and clearer, helping families stay engaged and informed about their children’s progress. Parents have shared positive feedback about the timely updates and transparency. Overall, Ad-Din has helped ISOC streamline daily operations and better fulfill its mission of nurturing confident, well-rounded students grounded in Islamic values.
